«L’obiettivo è quello di promuovere il “desiderio” di architettura» – ha sottolineato il Presidente Paolo Baratta – spiegando che questa edizione «pone al centro dell’attenzione la questione dello spazio, della qualità dello spazio, dello spazio libero e gratuito».
La 16. Mostra Internazionale di Architettura, dal titolo FREESPACE, a cura di Yvonne Farrell e Shelley McNamara sarà aperta al pubblico, ai Giardini e all’Arsenale, da sabato 26 maggio a domenica 25 novembre 2018.
La vernice avrà luogo il 24 e 25 maggio, la Cerimonia di Premiazione e l’Inaugurazione si svolgerà sabato 26 maggio.
Sono già in vendita con tariffa promozionale “Early Bird” gli speciali accrediti validi per più ingressi, e i biglietti Intero e Studenti validi per un ingresso.

The 16th International Architecture Exhibition, titled FREESPACE, is curated by Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara and will open from Saturday 26th May to Sunday 25th November 2018.
The preview will take place on 24th and 25th May, the awards ceremony and inauguration will be held on Saturday 26th May 2018.
Early Bird accreditation, valid for unrestricted admission, and Regular and Student tickets, valid for one entrance, are already available for online sales.

CINEMA
BIENNALE CINEMA 2018
Aperta la vendita degli accrediti Cinema, rivolti agli studenti impegnati in programmi di formazione attinenti alle arti cinematografiche, e degli accrediti Studenti Universitari con la tariffa Early Bird: fino 31 maggio gli studenti Cinema e gli studenti Universitari possono acquistare lo speciale accredito a 40 € (anziché 80 €) e vivere da vicino le emozioni della 75. Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica.
Sono inoltre disponibili le procedure di accredito per le categorie Industry e Film Delegation; il regolamento per gli accrediti Stampa sarà annunciato a breve.
Cinema accreditation is now available for online purchase, aimed at film students, as well as University Students accreditation, both with Early Bird price: Cinema students and University students can purchase the accreditation for the 75th Venice International Film Festival until 31st May at the cost of 40 € (instead of 80 €). Furthermore, the accreditation regulations for the Industry and Film Delegation categories are now available. Regulations for the Press will be announced soon.

BIENNALE COLLEGE TEATRO: WORKSHOP
Aperte fino al 9 aprile le iscrizioni per partecipare ai workshop della Biennale College Teatro rivolti a studiosi, spettatori, appassionati, che si terranno a Venezia dal 20 luglio al 5 agosto.
15 Maestri lavoreranno con i partecipanti selezionati confrontandosi sul tema scelto quest’anno dal Direttore Antonio Latella: il “bacio”.
Al termine del percorso del College, sarà proposto l’esito di ogni workshop in una breve realizzazione scenica, inedite creazioni teatrali che saranno poi presentate, tutte insieme, in una sorta di Maratona Teatrale, prevista il 5 agosto, ultimo giorno della Biennale Teatro 2018.
The call for applications to the workshops of the Biennale College Teatro is open until 9th April; workshops are aimed at theatre lovers, scholars and spectators.
15 selected Masters and the College attendees will address in this edition (20th July – 5th August) the theme of “the kiss”, as devised by the Director Antonio Latella, and subsequently present the outcome of each workshop in a short theatre piece.
Each of these original creations will be presented with all the others in a sort of theatre marathon, to take place on 5th August, the last day of the Biennale Teatro 2018.
