THE PLACE TO BE AT THE 67th VENICE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

The meeting point for the protagonists of international cinema, designed by Marina Garzoni, was chosen by the major film studios as the location for the press activities of the most important  films in Venice.

After the recent success at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival and at the last edition of the Venice International Film Festival, Star Style Lounge takes the spotlight once again, from September 1 to 11 for the 67th edition of the Venice International Film Festival.
This new concept area, dedicated to film, fashion and technology professionals is a candidate for the undisputed «place to be» in Venice.
The elegant and exclusive location, situated near the Hotel Excelsior’s swimming pool, just a few steps away from the heart of the festival, will host prestigious events and the press activities of some of the most awaited movies.
The activities of the Lounge started during the first two days with the cast of Black Swan by Darren Aronofsky, with celebrities such as Natalie Portman, Vincent Cassel and a cocktail for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
In the following days the Lounge will host the artist and filmmaker Julian Schnabel, in competition with Miral, the cocktail party for the cast of Potiche, directed by Francois Ozon starring Gerard Depardieu and Catherine Deneuve, the cast of Vallanzasca – Gli Angeli del Male by Michele Placido with Filippo Timi, Kim Rossi Stewart, Valeria Solarino, Francesco Scianna and Barney’s Version starring Dustin Hoffman and Minnie Driver. The Lounge activities will conclude with The Tempest with Helen Mirren award winner of the Coppa Volpi.
The exclusiveness of the location will be further enhanced by the presence of :
Baxter furnishings, Champagne Montaudon, and the Noblesse Oblige bar serving Rum Zacapa and cocktails.
“E-Motional Advertising” occupies a space within Style Star Lounge’s fashion and technology area where it presents a new way of Product Placement with the use of interactive videos which offers brands and companies the opportunity to amplify the potentials of product placement in the era of Web 2.0 and social networks.
The conference hall will host workshops and conferences organized in conjunction with : Le Giornate Professionali di Cinema, ANICA ,ANEM,ANEC and sponsored by the MINISTERO dei BENI CULTURALI  DIREZIONE GENERALE del CINEMA.
